This week, Latin Pulse focuses on electoral politics, both in Latin America and the United States. The program features a review of upcoming elections in Argentina, Nicaragua and Guatemala. One of the in-depth interviews this week also discusses the Obama administration's policies concerning Cuba and how those might be affected by the 2012 elections in the U.S.

Latin Pulse: 9.23.2011

Latin Pulse, the notable public affairs program from Link TV returns this week in the form of a podcast. The first program features in-depth interviews about the effects of the drug war in Mexico on that country’s fragile democracy and about Cuba’s attempts at economic reform. Although this program includes topics fairly close to the U.S., future programs will range throughout Latin America.

Luis Botello of the International Center for Journalists.
